National Conflict Resolution Day
The signature event of VCU's Office of the Ombudsperson, National Conflict Resolution Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of October. National Conflict Resolution Day, conceived in 2005 by the Association for Conflict Resolution, seeks to "promote awareness of mediation, arbitration, conciliation and other creative, peaceful means of resolving conflict."
